EAST is a collective of artists from across Africa, Asia and Europe producing pop-up creative adventures on the world’s historic railways, hybrid residences and artist-led research programmes.

EAST brings creatives together across geography and discipline to expand artistic practice, explore entangled histories, foster collaborations and build inclusive networks.

EAST’s intense emotional and physical experiences challenge how we perceive ourselves in relation to others and our world, catalysing the emergence of radical new ideas and artwork.
