In 2020, the Miller-Zillmer Foundation launched the Artists @ Home Residency to explore the possibilities of art and collaboration in times of global crisis and physical separation.
During this pioneering project, our resident artists, Francisca Saez Agurto, Roberto Santaguida, Gowri Jayakumar aka Pulpy Shilpy and Pavel Ruzyak, created ‘Kapitola’, a stunning work of audiovisual poetry and a beautiful example of collaborative experimentation.
The short film was subsequently featured at this year’s edition of Fidba - International Documentary Film Festival Buenos Aires and we are very pleased to announce that ‘Kapitola’ now will be presented at the upcoming Festival Les Instants Vidéo. The festival will take place from 21 October to 4 December in Marseille, Nice, Aix en Provence, in Palestine (Gaza), in Italy and in Iran. The international encounter will be held in Marseille, Friche la Belle de Mai from November 9 to 12 (the exhibition in la Friche closing on January, 29, 2023). Congratulation to our artists in residence for their amazing work!
